The government announced on 22nd September, further national measures, for full details, please guide customers to GOV.UK www.gov.uk/government/news/coronavirus-covid-19-what-has-changed-22-september.
The Government states "businesses will need to display the official NHS QR codes posters so that customers can 'check-in' at different premises using this option as an alternative to providing their contact details once the app is rolled out nationally (from 24 September)".
To create a Coronavirus NHS QR code, visit: https://www.gov.uk/create-coronavirus-qr-poster
You will then be emailed a QR code poster that you can print and display in your premises.
According to Gov.uk, "you should create and display a QR code if you are:
- a business, place of worship or community organisation with a physical location that is open to the public
- an event which is taking place in a physical location
If you have more than one venue, you need to create a separate QR code for each location. You can add multiple locations in the service."
