    Herritage Tomato and Burrata Salad

    Heritage Tomatoes and Burrata

    What is Burrata?

Only developed in the 20th century, Burrata is quite a young cheese and has recently become a popular item on trending menus. Burrata consists of an oozing soft interior of cream and small cheese curds, encased in a soft mozzarella shell. It can be easy to mistake burrata and mozzarella because of their similar appearance, however, due to burrata’s unique filling, it has a more decadent, creamy and buttery taste.
