Distinctive fruity, nutty taste and a clean sweet finish. Based in the Lincolnshire Wolds, Simon and Tim Jones are dedicated to producing distinctive Lincolnshire Poacher. They use fresh unpasteurised milk from the farm’s Holstein Fresian cows and traditional methods to make the cheese. Simon Jones is the fourth generation running the farm, which began in 1917. The process requires patience as the cheese is matured for many months.

Soft & creamy with a mellow flavour. Made with unpasteurised milk. Michael and Mary Davenport have been farming at Cote Hill Farm in Lincolnshire for more than 30 years. They started making cheese in 2005 using milk produced by their herd of Friesian, Holstein and Red Poll cows. Michael milks the cows twice a day and Mary uses the morning milk to make cheese. During the summer the cows graze clover rich pasture and in the winter eat grass and maize silage together with red clover haylage. This home produced forage, together with the high standard of cow management produces top quality award winning cheese.
