    Butchery Processing Room Operative

    Location: Boston
    Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
    Days of Work: 5 from 6 days, Sunday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm
    Term: Permanent

    As a Processing Room Operative, you will be part of a small, warm and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the burgers and sausages are made to the highest standard, keeping up to date with burger and sausage stock levels and customer demand.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Making Burgers
    • Making Sausages
    • Creating recipe sheets
    • Selecting the correct cuts of meat for processing
    • Visually assessing meat and ensuring fit for purpose

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Good attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
    • Good written skills and basic computer admin skills
    • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced butchery environment
    • Positive and calm approach to work
